**Personal Assistant: One-to-One Support**

**Location: Accrington area | Driving Licence Required**

Are you a compassionate and thoughtful individual looking for a fulfilling role?

We are looking for a quietly spoken, calm, and balanced person to assist a bright and polite man in his 30s who has a complex physical disability and uses a wheelchair for mobility.

**Role Details**:

- **Flexible Hours**: 14-16 hours per week available.
- **Commitment**:Tuesdays & Thursdays: 9 AM to 2:30 PM or 9 AM to 3 PM.
- **Additional**:Optional 3-hours are also available on the specified days.
- **Annual Leave Cover**: Available as needed.
- **Start Date**: Immediate or between January 2 and January 7, 2025.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transport the service user in an automatic vehicle.
- Accompany and assist with occasional appointments.
- Assist with household tasks and daily activities.
- Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Plan and facilitate enjoyable outings like visits to coffee shops, retail centres, seaside strolls, scenic drives, and running errands.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided).
- Clean UK driving licence.
- Medically fit and safe to drive.
- Professionalism, care, patience, courtesy, reliability, dedication, common sense, organisational skills, and practical decision-making.

- Applicants must reside within a 12-mile radius of Accrington, Blackburn, or Rossendale.
