We‘re seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to assist a bright, articulate, and cheerful man in his 30s, who has a complex physical disability and relies a powered wheelchair for mobility.

**This is an incredible opportunity that seamlessly fits around nursery and school hours. We offer adaptable start and finish times, ensuring a balanced approach to work and family life.**

**Role Details**:

- **Flexible Hours**: 16-18 hours per week available.
- **Start Date**: Immediate/flexible start.

**Flexible Schedules to Choose From**:
Schedule 1 (16 hrs/week)
- Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00-9:30 AM **Until** 14:30-15:00 PM **(11 hrs/week)**:

- Sundays: 15:00 **to**20:00 PM **(5 hours-once per week)**
- Schedule 2 (18 hrs/week)_
- Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM **Until** 16:30 PM **(15 hrs/week)**:

- Sundays: 14:00 PM **to** 20:00 PM **(6 hours-only twice per month)**

Schedule 3 (18 hrs/week)
- Wednesdays and Fridays: 9:00 AM **Until** 3:00 PM **(12 hrs/week)**:

- Sundays: 14:00 **to** 20:00 PM **(6 hours-once per week)**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Promote independence and build confidence.
- Establish a steady routine to maintain stability and reliability.
- Transport the service user in a specially adapted (automatic) vehicle.
- Accompany to essential medical appointments.
- Provide personal care, including toileting, bathing, and dressing.
- Assist with household tasks and running errands.

**Requirements**:

- Willingness to undergo a DBS check (provided).
- Clean UK driving licence, medically fit and safe to drive.
- A genuine passion for driving is essential.
- Physically fit and the ability to sustain an active daily routine.
- Professionalism, care, patience, courtesy, reliability, dedication, common sense, organisational skills, and practical decision-making.

**Work Environment**:
You’ll be working in a calm, clean, and safe property environment where the service user lives with his mother. His main carer provides her support at different times.

**Must be within 15 miles of Accrington, to be considered for this role.**
