A leading utilities organisation are recruiting a Services Buyer. Working closely with a Sourcing Manager, the Services Buyer will be responsible for coordinating and executing strategic sourcing exercises around tendering and supplier selection.

The Services Buyer will support the delivery of strategic sourcing events and lead the full sourcing lifecycle for spot buys, and non-strategic sourcing events. The Services Buyer will maintain and update supplier/contract database and work with the SourcingManager to optimise and streamline procurement processes.

Hybrid working is available in this role.

Specific duties of the Services Buyer include:

- Support development of RFI, supplier questionnaires and other front-end tendering activities
- Gather and analyse internal data to support sourcing events
- Lead the RFP process for spot-buys and non-strategic items
- Manage the administration of contracts and the contract/supplier database
- Process improvement and CI activities within the procurement function
