We have a requirement for a full time **Traffic Operator (Nights) **at our Manchester Depot. **Please note that this a TEMPORARY position for up to 6 months but may be extended or made permanent.**

We are looking to recruit a full time/permanent **Traffic Operator (Nights)** in our busy Traffic Office based in Manchester.

The working pattern for this role will be Sunday to Thursday Nights from 7pm until 5am.

**Main purpose of job/Responsibilities**

To oversee and operate the night plan at the Manchester Depot to include driver/vehicle allocation, re-routing where necessary whilst ensuring maximum earnings, excellent vehicle utilisation and making the best use of driver resources.

To fully engage with all the drivers during the shift to manage their jobs/hours worked.

To make decisions where necessary to benefit the operation when unforeseen circumstances occur.

To ensure that Mandata (TMS System) and all other IT systems are maintained and updated as required so the TMS system is consistently accurate.

To undertake any other tasks as determined by operational requirements as and when required to ensure that the department runs smoothly.

**NOTE - Transport Manager’s CPC Qualification is desirable in this role.**

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
