- Customer Service / Admin Job Description
We are looking for a Customer Service / Administrator to join us on a full-time basis, based out of the Kidlington Office. You will be the main/first point of contact linking the office to our new and existing customers. Your main focus will be managing and running the monthly service (PPM) jobs and the calendar each day, to ensure that the 15 engineers’ days are full, whilst ensuring it is planned in the most profitable/cost effective way. You will be dealing with a shifting, fluid environment, where you will have to rearrange days and jobs throughout the day.
We are a family run Fire and Security company that has been in the sector for over
24 years. We focus on and around the home counties but have nationwide clients that are both commercial and residential. We are looking to grow dramatically over the next couple of years, so in the medium term, there will be progression and management opportunities. We have a team focus at Chilman Fire & Security and organise socials every 3 months. With Christmas and summer parties each year, where partners are welcome to join
**Responsibilities**:
- Call Handling
- Effectively plan the Engineers' routes with focus on reducing downtime and wasted journeys
- Contacting customers and contractors to plan maintenance dates.
- Liaising with division managers to see when they require engineers for installation work to list into the diary
- Assist other engineers with their job needs and assist with admin in the office
- Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly, ensuring the customer's issues are managed effectively
- Ensuring emergency callouts are responded to within agreed SLA timescales
- Have a proactive approach to working with a positive, energetic attitude
- Portray organisational skills and efficient work processes
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft packages
Skills and qualities:
- Experience with coordinating/scheduling - desirable
- Adaptable, flexible approach to work required.
- Passionate about customer service.
- Administration Experience with computer literacy skills.
- An excellent telephone manner and good communicator
- Excellent Interpersonal Skills.
- Ideally have customer liaison experience in the service industry, but not essential.
- Full training will be provided for this role.
- We offer
- Salary: £25,000 per annum
- 25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays. Annual leave can increase to a maximum of 30 days with time added over service.
