**About the Role**

As a Support Technician, you will enjoy a variety of tasks, which can be both challenging and rewarding. The IT Support Services department are primarily a 2nd line technical support function to the Society’s workstation and printer estate. The day-to-daymanagement of the workstation estate can range from the installation of new technologies, performing fault finding in terms of the hardware and software installed on the estate down to patch and vulnerability management.

**About You**

With proven experience in an IT Support role, you will have strong customer service skills and the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload. You will have experience of performing problem management and be committed to continuous improvement.

Knowledge and experience of the following areas is essential to the role:

- Experience working with and upgrading workstation hardware, including PC’s, Laptops, Apple Devices and Printers
- Experience in the setup, upkeep and deployment of workstation based operating system technologies.
- Experience working within an IT support role supporting a customer base.
- Experience with patch management processes.
