We have a great opportunity for someone to join our People Department as an Administrator. This newly created role will work closely with the rest of the People department and will provide administrative duties for the full end-to-end employee lifecycle; from recruitment and onboarding activities, to end of employment.

The People Administrator will be a visible, professional, and a welcoming representative of HR and L&D across the business and handle low-risk day-to-day people-related queries, escalating in-depth queries to the rest of the team where required. The People Administrator will support with all recruitment activities and be a point of contact for employee welfare and health and safety and will also arrange company wellbeing, engagement, social and charity events.

**In this role you will**:

- Complete all People department administration for the full employee lifecycle in line with expected standards.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of all employee records.
- Be a point of contact for day-to-day HR questions and queries, supporting and empowering employees and resolving where possible or escalating when needed.
- Support all end-to-end recruitment activities including phone interviews and note taking.
- Ensure effective communication across the People department by working closely and seamlessly with the People Advisor and the L&D Consultant.
- Support as directed by the People Manager on any People department projects from time to time.
- Be a point of contact for employee welfare and health and safety and carryout risk assessments.
- Arrange company wellbeing, engagement, social and charity events.
**Experience and Qualifications**

The People Administrator will have (Essential):

- Worked in a similar role for at least 1 year
- Previous administration experience

The People Administrator will ideally have (not essential):

- Up to date Employment law knowledge
- Previous experience of working in a HR/People environment
- Knowledge of the full employee lifecycle
- Recruitment experience
- Organising company events
- CIPD Level 3

- Good communication skills
- Good MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Great team player
- Active Listener

The role is based in our offices in Worthing, West Sussex.

The salary is between £21,000 to £25,000 (FTE) per annum.
