**The Role**
As a Senior Administrator at Homewise, you’ll help make the office run like clockwork. You’ll be in charge of the day to day functioning of the office, ranging from meeting and diary management through to providing support to our people and visitors.
You will also provide robust administration support to other business departments with a particular focus on the Property department to ensure administrative tasks associated with all purchase and sales transactions are performed accurately and efficiently.
With an efficient, professional approach and ability to set up processes and systems, you’ll keep the office running smoothly while also delivering the administrative tasks needed by the business.
To join us, you’ll need a proven work experience as a senior administrator, in-depth understanding of office management and daily operations and excellent IT skills. You should have excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong organisational and time-management skills. Just as important is an approachable and helpful nature.
This role is a full-time permanent role which is based in our offices in Working, West Sussex. Salary is £20,000 to £23,000 per annum depending on experience.
**In this role you will**:
- Maintain an office space to a high standard which delivers cleanliness, promotes the company culture and values.
- Take the lead on the day to day organisation of administration tasks across the team.
- Monitor and procure needed office supplies, including staff refreshments and consumables minimising costs wherever possible.
- Administer all company post and delivery requirements.
- Welcoming of visitors to the office including assisting with visitor travel and parking arrangements, maintaining the visitor log, maintenance of office reception, professional delivery of refreshments and management of meeting room facilities.
- Manage the maintenance and repair of office installations, including electrical and plumbing systems through liaison with contractors.
- Property department administration support.
- Property Management department administration support.
- Assist with sales team’s administration requirements.
- Assist in the creation, maintenance and improvement of the Administration department best practices and processes.
- Create, enhance, and update excel spreadsheets to track and chase Property department transaction activity.
- Develop and maintain strong filing systems.
- Call answering for overflow when required.
- Any other duties required by the company & team.
- Assist the Property department with managing both verbal and written enquiries and responding within specific timeframes.
- Where relevant, signpost to third parties and external agencies.
- Arrange appropriate surveys on prospective HFLP properties ensuring compliance with current legislation.
- Assist with the handling of pre contract management enquiries from Solicitors, ensuring accuracy of response.
**Experience and Qualifications**
The Senior Administrator will have (Essential):
- Business or office administration experience
- Administration experience working in a fast paced office environment
The Senior Administrator will ideally have (not essential):
- Office coordination/management experience
