- About the position_

As a Spa Coordinator, you will play a key role in upholding the highest of standards set by the company. First impression counts, so you will need to possess exceptional customer service skills with an ability to engage our customers, anticipate their needs and be available to look after. You will start each day with familiarising yourself with the days business ahead. You will strive to elevate our personal service beyond 5 star by recognising our guests needs and being genuinely interested in their reason for visiting, whether it be a Birthday, Anniversary, Hen do or just a nice time away. You will require a degree of flexibility during your shift, allowing you to get involved in different aspects of the guest experience.

We are seeking an individual with an authentic and warm, yet professional personality who can easily connect to our guests. This role is perfect for those with great people and organisational skills and would likely suit someone with a degree of supervisory experience gained in the hospitality or service sector. Being a good planner, excellent communicator and imaginative, will enable you to fulfil and develop this role successfully.

**Responsibilities of Spa Experience Coordinator**
- Study the work diaries in advance and know the days business ahead.
- Recognise special events, repeat guests, specific guest requests, logístical arrangements and plan your resources accordingly.
- Make yourself known to the spa guest ensuring that they have a point of contact for the day should they need.
- Work closely alongside the spa reception and management team and you will be responsible for communication of relevant information to them ensuring they too are prepared for the day.
- Build a relationship with the hotel reception and reservation team that will allow you to have an insight into hotel guests needs and expectations.
- Maintain our leading reputation for exceptional facilities and friendly professional service.
- Recognise opportunities to upsell our service in different ways, from offering drinks service to promoting return visits.
- Maintain an exceptionally high level of quality and hygiene standards throughout the facilities and communicate any needed improvements with relevant team members.
- Help to ensure the Spa runs efficiently and within health and safety guidelines
- Understand and promote all the internal and external facilities / services / products offered within the Resort.
- Meeting and greeting guests to ensure they receive a warm welcome, when entering the Spa
- Completing and recording daily tasks as defined within the departmental processes.
- Examining the spa areas prior to opening and ensuring the areas are fully prepared and ready to service Spa guests eg ensuring that thermal facilities are clean and available for use, laundry provisions are available to guests etc.
