Forbes Solicitors has a fantastic opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Marketing & Business Development Department at our Rutherford House office, based in Blackburn.

Working within a busy Marketing Team, your duties will include:

- Organisation and attendance at small events such as Expos, seminars, shows
- Preparation of PowerPoint presentations and handouts for presentations and seminars
- Coordination and booking of networking events
- Amending and updating the intranet and website, profiles, photos, events
- Production and distribution of e-alerts and newsletters
- Adding new contacts and updating the Marketing Database
- Sourcing and ordering of giveaways and other stock
- Other duties as required by the Marketing team.
In this varied and busy role, the successful applicant will ideally:

- Ideally have 3 A-Levels, or equivalent, grades A* - C;
- Previous experience within a marketing/business environment, is desirable, however not essential as full training can be given;
- Have a passion for Marketing;
- Have good interpersonal and organisational skills;
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and undertake various administrative duties
- Be IT competent, i.e. Outlook, MS Office, Social Media;
- Have a willingness to learn and develop skills as they progress.

This position is a full time, permanent position with the working hours of 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday, a total of 36.25 hours per week.
