Pentland Wholesale Ltd is a leading supplier of refrigerated and commercial catering products with almost 30 years within the industry. Based out of our Blackburn head offices we design and supply an expansive array of quality products throughout the UK including under our own brands, Blizzard & Koldbox.

Due to the continued growth and expansion of the business we are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and ambitious Marketing Assistant who will play a crucial role in the development and progression of the brand. This role would be ideal for someone wanting to pursue a career in marketing or in-house design and an opportunity to gain valuable experience within the field.

As Marketing Assistant, you will undertake an exciting and varied role in which you’ll work closely with the Marketing Manger to develop, create and execute marketing campaigns across various platforms including social media, web, print, events and more.

Previous experience with design and/or marketing platforms would be highly beneficial but is not essential as full training will be given.

Duties Include:

- Design & build marketing material to be used on various channels including social media, web & print. (Adobe Suite)
- Create & maintain product listings for multiple websites. (Magento 1/2)
- Maintain and update the ERP system (Navision) with correct and up to date information on products and services.
- Maintain & monitor social media sites with the goal to increasing our social presence including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter.
- Liaise with customers & suppliers on a regular basis to build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Gather and present data on digital marketing platforms including Google analytics, social media and MailChimp in order to reflect on campaign performance.

To succeed in the role, you will be able to demonstrate the following personal attributes (non-exhaustive):

- Excellent communication skills, with a high standard of English.
- Familiarity using the full Adobe Creative Suite specifically InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator.
- Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, Particularly with Outlook, Word & Excel.
- Experience/Interest in product creation & photography.
- Experience/Interest in social media marketing, specifically LinkedIn & Meta.
- Strong ability to multitask and time manage.
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external partners.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

This is a full-time position 08:30 until 17:00 hrs. 37.5 hours per week.

**Salary**: £19,500.00-£21,000.00 per year
