Full time and part time available. Harmless operate a 4-day working model with full time staff working 32 hours per week.
**Salary**:
Up to £24,030 per annum, pro rata, rising to up to £26,019 per annum, pro rata, on successful completion of a probationary period.
**MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB**
- The **Fundraising and Events Coordinator** plays a vital role in generating financial resources, raising brand awareness, and building strong community relationships to support the organisation's mission of suicide prevention.
- This position works closely with other relevant roles to create a cohesive strategy that maximises growth opportunities, strengthens the organisation's reputation, and advances its social aims and objectives.

**DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- ** Fundraising**:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy encompassing a variety of approaches, including individual giving, corporate sponsorships, foundation grants, and online fundraising campaigns.
- Build and cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring effective communication and stewardship.
- Manage fundraising databases and ensure accurate record-keeping of donations.

Event Management**:
- Plan and execute a diverse range of events aligned with the organisation's strategic goals, including (but not limited to) fundraising galas, awareness-raising campaigns, community outreach events, conferences, and workshops.
- Manage all logístical aspects of event planning and execution, including budgeting, venue selection, vendor coordination, marketing, registration, and on-site coordination.
- Collaborate with other relevant roles to ensure events effectively incorporate policy messaging and advocacy opportunities.
- Evaluate event outcomes and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

Community Engagement**:
- Develop and implement community engagement initiatives to build awareness and support for the organisation's mission.
- Foster relationships with community organisations, local and national businesses, and other stakeholders to create collaborative partnerships.
- Identify and recruit volunteers to support fundraising and event activities.
- **
Collaboration with other roles**:
- Work closely with other relevant roles to identify opportunities for integrating fundraising, events, and public awareness campaigns with policy advocacy efforts.
- Support the development and execution of communication strategies that promote fundraising initiatives and events.
- Collaborate on the creation of compelling narratives and messaging that resonate with donors, sponsors, and the wider community.

**Skills, knowledge, and experience**
- **Qualifications**: Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field such as nonprofit management, fundraising, event planning, or communications (Desired).

- ** Quality**: Proven track record in successful and ongoing fundraising and event coordination (Essential) within the not-for-profit sector (Desired).
