We are recruiting for a temporary role to join the HR team at Durham University.

Full time 35 hours per week hybrid based. Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

**Role responsibilities**:

- Work with the Organisation Development team by collaborating effectively with colleagues within the team and other professional services areas as well as external providers demonstrating a professional responsive support service.
- Support the smooth running of administrative processes, which support the team and colleagues across the University and the provision of learning and development events and organisation development initiatives.
- Compile, record, store and archive data and information to ensure the accuracy and safety of information e.g. Oracle Learning, website, Teams sites.
- Liaise with representatives from other service areas, professional organisations and agencies where necessary.
- Use standard office-based digital systems, tools and equipment to carry out data recording, reporting, analysis, communications and networking.
- Act as Secretary to meetings and network groups liaising closely with the Chair and/or Co-Chair by organising and attending meetings, setting agendas, actions logs and distributing documents and communications in standard professional formats meeting tightdeadlines.
- Process and update key business documentation.
- Liaise with internal and external suppliers and specialists with the organisation, planning and delivery of services, activities and events some of which may be across different functions and areas of the University.
- Make meeting bookings, venue bookings, catering, travel (including international) and/or equipment arrangements for events, meetings and activities.
- Manage, monitor and maintain the Oracle Learning system, publishing programmes online when required.
- Under the guidance of Organisation Development and learning and development colleagues, produce communications, engagement and web-based or hard-copy promotional and marketing material and promote events to appropriate audiences, such as, through the website,dialogue and other forums.
- Use online survey tools to design, develop and distribute evaluation questionnaires when required, analysing the results when required and raising any feedback, which needs action to Organisation Development colleagues.
- Maintain and update Organisation Development web pages using the relevant content management system.
- Monitor the income and expenditure of the development budget, action financial processes (including reconciliation of purchase card spend) and regularly update the Organisation Development team on expenditure.
- Provide support to other areas of the department at peak times.
- Any other reasonable duties.
