The Job:
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Learning and Development Manager(L+D) for their Head Office which is based in Bristol.Managing a team of 4 you will be leading and delivering the learning and development strategies.As well as managing a teamof teaching and coaching experts, so previous line management is a must.

Responsibilities will include:
Accountable for developing and delivering the L&D strategy that compliments the People plan

Managing a team of People Development Coaches

Owning and delivering the Apprenticeship Programme

Overseeing the design, delivery and evaluation of L&D initiatives, to ensure they meet operational and strategic objectives, are focused on the transfer of learning while providing an outstanding learning experience for participants, and support personalgrowth for staff

Work collaboratively with the wider HR function to understand the drivers of effective organisational performance and implement L&D initiatives to support high performance and succession

The Person:
For this role, our client is looking for an innovative and energetic L+D Manager who is able to drive and embrace change within the business.As well as this they are looking for someone who has:

- Substantial experience in developing organisational L&D strategies, development programmes, initiatives and interventions both operational and transformational
- Proven line management experience, ideally leading a function, with overall responsibility for delivery
- Experience of stakeholder management across different management levels
- A professional qualification in learning and development
- A professional qualification within coaching
- Experience of using a range of psychometric instruments for development purposes (Insights Discovery is preferrable)
- Proven expertise in effective training needs analysis and LMS
- Demonstrable expertise in the design, delivery, and evaluation of learning interventions.
- A proven track record in coaching and advanced presentation training skills

The Salary: £45-50,000

The Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm

The Location: Home based but with regular travel to the Bristol office
