**Job**:SQL Server DBA
**Salary**:£50,000 - £60,000
**Location**: Remote (UK based)
Our client, a UK wide group operating across a number of sectors need an experienced DBA to join a growing technology team to working on a market leading SaaS product built in Microsoft technologies. The client have been operating for well over a decade witha remote team working closely together by leveraging technology. _(please be aware that the team meet very occasionally in East Anglia, however this has not happened for over 2 years now)_
We're looking for an experience Database administrator who is able to analyse, monitor and develop the SQL Server estate for a range of web and mobile software.
You'll need to recommend and implement performance changes using architectural experience and Database management skills to develop reliability, automate tasks, and help reduce development time. Although there will be some elements of production DBA withinhe role, the main focus is around the development of SQL.
**Duties include**:
- Monitoring and enhancing SQL Server performance
- Carry out root cause analysis to determine best remedial strategy
- Recommendations and implementing information security best practice
- Monitoring and presenting performance advancements.
- Database Design and development improvements.
- Monitoring and maintaining Redgate SQL Monitor
- Stored Procedure development
**Technical skills required**:
- Microsoft SQL Server Admin / Development
- Azure managed SQL / Azure cloud computing.
- SQL Administration
- T-SQL
- Stored procedures
- SQL Server Management Studio
