**Network Architect. £375.00 Day Rate - Outside of IR35. 6 Months Contract. Home Based. UK. T6/MN/18272.** Global FMCG organization is seeking to secure a Network Architect. The Network Architect will work remotely with IT staff across Europe to support the existing infrastructure and on projects to implement new systems. **Technical Skills - Experience Required**: - Network & Wi -Fi - design, set up & implementation. - VMware / VxRail / Hyper converged technologies. - Meraki WiFi - Setup, configure & install - Dashboard, Firewall & Networking. - Networking principles using Cisco & HP switches. - VLANs / Design / Routing / Ping / Trace Route / Switch Config. - Firewalls technologies. - WAN / Site to Site VPN. - Microsoft Windows 10. - Microsoft Server 2003 to 2019. - Microsoft Exchange 2010 to 2016. - Active Directory - high level of understanding & associated management tools. - AD / DHCP / DNS / FSMO Roles / Sites & Services / Domain Trusts. - Backup technologies. - Patch Management. - Disaster Recovery. - Understanding of Security - Network, Firewall & User. - SQL Server - an understanding of how this is used. - Understanding of how Microsoft Licensing works in a VMware environment. - High-level of understanding of how Microsoft technologies are used in a business. - Working in a Project Managed environment. - Change Management. - Stakeholder Engagement - Ability to interact with staff at all levels & stakeholders. - Culturally aware - able to interact with stakeholders with limited English. - Interact with technical & non-technical stakeholders. - Flexible & patience approach - able to deal with "random" requests. - Wiliness to share knowledge - assist other members of the IT team. - Ability to deal with support tickets at any level. - Self - starter, diligent and proactive.
