Ruby Group are recruiting for a Director of Statutory and Regulatory Reporting with a hybrid working set up based in Central London, Zone 1.

They are one of the most talked about firms in their sector with a significant level of funding surpassing all others in their class with a record-breaking valuation and potential global stock market listing prospects. Their plan is to source a high performingwork force within a short space of time to significantly increase headcount and capabilities worldwide. They are bringing in a high calibre of talent and have created a diverse and inclusive business with 60 in the finance department which will increase significantly,they have 20 global offices and 1000 in their London office.

This position will sit within a growing core finance team reporting into the Senior Finance Director and will drive regulatory reporting requirements for various jurisdictions, entities and divisions.

Your duties will include:

- Working with internal finance teams to review and sign off accuracy of all reports
- Creation of a robust controls environment with process improvement as a core ethos
- Interpret reporting requirements implement steps to automate parts of the processes
- Seek out external regulatory standards inform the business of reporting obligations
- Implement assessments to ensure the business is prepared prior to internal and external deadlines
- Seek out internal stakeholders to ascertain their compliance level with existing reporting obligations and obtain supporting data
- Prepare robust documentation for future implementation

The ideal Director of Statutory and Regulatory Reporting will possess the following attributes/skills:

- Exposure to Fintech, Payments, or FX industry (Desirable)
- Experience of delivering projects and proposals over several time zones
- Project management skills
- US company exposure
- Ability to lead directly and indirectly with excellent communication sills
- Exposure to a complex industry, ideally something intangible (non-physical goods)
- Highly motivated and able to work towards tight deadlines on multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
