**Regulatory Reporting Accountant - Boutique Investment Banking Business - City of London**
**The Business**:
- Well regarded brand in Capital Markets, high performing London business with an established wholesale banking parent.
- Growth focused with significant increases in headcount planned for the London office
**The Role**:
The Regulatory Reporting Accountant will sit in the team responsible for FINREP, COREP and Statistical reporting, in addition to ICAAP, Pillar III and Stat accounts.
You will have ownership for the production of regulatory and statutory returns for the UK and European entities in line with underlying rules and regulations.
- Assisting with review of new regulations and policy.
- Ensure internal reporting requirements are met
- Provide regulatory data to CFO and Management teams
- Project work including testing of regulatory systems changes and SOX testing
- Automate and improve existing reporting processes
**Profile**:
You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a previous background in Finance/Banking. You'll come from a regulated environment, ideally with some experience of regulatory / statistical reporting.
Knowledge of derivatives would be beneficial, although not essential.
Understanding of IFRS and UK GAAP would be helpful when preparing statutory accounts, as well as automation / visualisation tools such as Alteryx and Tableau.
