Regulatory Reporting Accountant

Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Regulatory Reporting in both BAU and Project work
- Responsibility for the regulatory reporting quality assurance process and validation programme.
- Ownership for projects within regulatory reporting
- Manage the controls process around regulatory reporting data quality and testing various controls within Reg
- Identify issues and their impact on capital and other areas of the department.
- Deliver recommendations for improvements, working with different business units to understand risks and gaps.
- Improve the process for delivering regulatory information.
Outcomes:
- Produce Pillar 3 board reports
- Lead process of FSCS reporting and testing
- Review of regulatory reports before being sent to regulators
- Monitor the controls framework
- Monitor regulatory policy and documentation of reporting process
- Support on ICAAP, ILAAP and RRP
- Prepare management reports including performance dashboards for Exco
**Requirements**:
- Experience of working in a regulatory reporting role in Banking.
- Expert level details, accuracy and numeracy
- Analytical skills with an ability to monitor controls as well as BAU reporting production.
- Knowledge of financial accounting and risk management.
- Professional Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
