Administrative Assistant

Custom Size Beds are looking to expand their team with a positive, organised and professional Personal Assistant/Admin Assistant to support the Company Director manage an ever-growing workload.
With the support of a Personal Assistant, the Company Director will be able to focus on the growth of the company, knowing day-to-day will be looked after.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Assist with day-to-day operations in the office including; managing the mailbox, liaising with suppliers and customers, improving and maintaining organisation systems within the office.
- Cover holiday of other team members including; managing colleagues mailboxes, processing orders, generating production drawings and supplier payments.
- Creating VAT sales invoices
- Assisting with HR duties such as; reviewing CVs for any new hires, schedule interviews, scheduling appraisals
- Managing staff holidays, liaising with the Managing Director for holiday approval
- Book items and arrange for items to be posted
- Assist with managing personal appointments and errands, including booking medical or dental appointments, making personal reservations, and coordinating leisure and household-related tasks as needed.
- Keep the work place clean and tidy
- Any other ad-hoc duties
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Excellent initiative and forward thinking
- Excellent organisation
- Proficient computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly and to a high standard
- A ‘can do’ attitude and team player
- Previous experience in either a customer service, administrative and/or personal assistant role
- Be reliable and accepting to responsibility
Benefits and salary:
- Salary: £25,000 FTE (£16,667 is the actual salary, based on 25 hours per week)
- Job type: Part time
- Hours: The core working hours for this role will be 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday to Friday. As this is a new position, there may be some adjustment to the hours as the role develops, though we do not anticipate changes of more than ±1 hour.
- Free on site parking
- Work location, Wainscott, Rochester, Kent.
