Aylesbury, United Kingdom Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust Full time

This is an exciting opportunity to develop the future generation of healthcare professionals within Primary Care

We are looking to recruit a registered nurse with a strong clinical background, who is enthusiastic about education and has a demonstrable portfolio of experience in supporting pre-registration students and apprentices. The appointee will support the provision of quality workplace experiences for pre-registration students and apprentices across Buckinghamshire Primary Care Services.

The learning environment facilitator will support the learning environment lead to ensure students have an enjoyable placement experience - to succeed in the acquisition of professional competence and to deliver excellent patient care. The post holder will help develop operational partnerships with clinical GP leads, practice managers and supervisors as well as education providers to recruit and retain learners on programme. The role requires the ability to facilitate completion of education audits and student evaluations to promote safe and effective learning environments.

The development of the Nurse Associate [NA] role is a critical to workforce transformation. The post holder will support the Lead to grow a future NA workforce within Primary Care and to provide outreach employability and development support for the clinical support workforce.

The work-base is Stoke Mandeville Hospital, however we adopt an agile approach to working and there is ample opportunity to work from home or other sites. The post holder will be required to travel across the county to GP practices therefore the ability to drive is considered essential. Job share or part time will be considered.
