**The Role**
We are seeking a Purchase Ledger to join Marshall Motor Group and help ensure the efficient running of the department, ensuring that the company accounting policies and procedures are correctly operated. You will be based at our Cambridge Head Office.
**What does a typical **day involve?**
- Ensuring the accurate and timely completion of administration processes to achieve company benchmarks
- Invoices to be posted daily to enable cash allocation promptly
- Manufacturer sites to be accessed every morning
- Planning ahead and managing time carefully to ensure all tasks are achieved
- Ensuring that action is taken to ensure compliance with Group benchmarks
- Striving to achieve a consistently high standard of ledger maintenance in order to ensure that the accurate information is always available from which to make decisions
**What skills and experience do I need?**
Ideally you will have experience working with Kerridge systems and experience working within the motor trade would be advantageous. Anyone with an Accounts background would also be considered.
