School Caretaker

**Position**: Caretaker

**Salary**:from £10.90 per hour with mileage supplement

**Working hours**:Monday-Friday, shifts vary between 7.30am-4pm and 8am-5pm

We are currently seeking a competent and confident DIYer to provide caretaker support full time at a school in Carlton.

**Duties**:

- General caretaking, including: managing and liaising with contractors; supervising cleaning and site staff.
- Maintenance and Minor Repairs
- Regulatory Health & Safety Checks - fire alarm, emergency lighting and legionella testing (full training provided).
- Site Security - opening and closing the school, checking site is secure before and after school opening times (full induction provided).
- Grounds and Garden Maintenance - tidying, sweeping, weeding, perimeter walks, snow clearance.

**Your skills**:

- Competent and confident home DIYer, able to handle minor repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A commitment to maintaining a safe and clean school environment.
