Therapy Support Workers
This post will have more therapeutic aspects of care to ‘health support worker roles’, really allowing an innovative staff member to flourish on Goldcrest. They will support the occupational therapists and other members of the MDT to complete their goals and work towards safe and effective discharge.
On the wards you would join a multi-disciplinary team in providing high standards of care to service users and working closely with carers/families. The role gives you the opportunity to develop your clinical skills and will offer more experience and potential development. We offer comprehensive on-going support and development to all our staff including appraisals, personal development plans, short term & long term study opportunities & a robust clinical supervision structure.
Our therapy support workers will enable patients to engage in their treatment regimes and meet their rehabs goals. This may be through working and 'upskilling' people to live independently in the community as an example.
This role is a new post to enable a person-centred focus and ensure we are actively engaging service users and allowing them the opportunity to build successful futures regardless of their mental health needs.
Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) employ around 3700 talented colleagues who are very much appreciated, valued, and respected.
We have a wide portfolio which includes mental health, physical health, learning disability and drug and alcohol services.
We are passionate about enhancing the quality of our service and we work hard to attract and select the right colleagues for our organisation. Our goal is to employ those who share our passion for providing first class care while remaining committed to our vision and values.
