**South Coast Nursing Homes **is an established and successful, family owned and managed, care home company based in Worthing, West Sussex.

We currently operate 9 homes across East and West Sussex. We have 414 beds, having recently added 55 with the opening of a new Nursing home in central Worthing a few months ago, and it’s in this new home, The Poets.

Each registered home offers the highest standards of resident care and comfort, 24 hours - day and night, for long and short-term stays.

**Job description**

We are looking for an organised and committed individual with a professional approach, to join us as an **Administrator** at The Poets Nursing Home in Worthing.

**Hours**: Monday to Friday -9am -5pm, although there can be some flexibility and possibly less hours.

As a **Home Administrator** you will support the Home Manager in all aspects of home administration.

**More about the role**:
You will be providing administrative support to the home so that our team can focus on providing high quality care to our residents and ensure the smooth running of all administrative functions within the home.

You will also be responsible for administration and monitoring of the time and attendance system and the accurate and timely processing of payroll and HR information (including new starters, changes, leavers, sickness and other absence) so that employees are paid correctly.

**More about you**:

- Ideally you will have experience of working in an administration role in a busy environment and used to multi-tasking and prioritisation.
- Have strong communication skills both oral and written, along with excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with residents, visitors to the home and staff.
- It would be beneficial to have experience of working in accounts and payroll
- Confident approach in using Microsoft Office and In house packages
