Trainee Samsung Repair Technician

**Job description** TMT First, an award-winning technology company based in Newcastle under Lyme are looking to add to our team of highly trained Mobile Device Repair Technicians. We are an accredited Samsung partner; therefore, the training will be with Samsung official tools,systems, and programs.

You will spend your first two weeks in our Training Academy, where a dedicated trainer will teach you both the theory and practical elements of repairing various Samsung mobile devices (Phones, Watches, Tablets). You will also have the opportunity to putthis learning to the test by repairing actual devices under our supervision.

Normal working hours are 8.15am - 4.45pm (37.5 hours per week) Monday to Friday, you will be required to work Saturdays (currently 1 in 4) on a rota basis once your training is completed.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

1. Assists in the analysis of repair processes, identifies alternative solutions and supports new procedures. Asks questions to check own understanding of processes.

2. Works to develop additional knowledge and technical skills continually communicating effectively with colleagues

3. Notifies Team Leader of problems in a timely manner. Contributes to problem resolution

4. Ensures accuracy of own work and takes responsibility for the quality of work produced.

5. Conforms to business and customer security and compliance policies

6. Works hard to deliver outputs on time and produces an appropriate quantity of work. Strives to meet and exceed targets. Contributes to performance of the team.

7. Contributes to maintaining a safe working environment and raises H&S concerns in a timely manner.

8. Maintain a clean and organised work station at all times

9. Participates in internal training sessions and attends all college study periods as required.
