Senior Site Engineer

We have a great opportunity for **Senior Site Engineers** to join our growing engineering team working on our busy framework with the Anglian Water, Strategic Pipeline Alliance (SPA) framework. **About The Project** Anglian Water has created a new delivery enterprise - the Strategic Pipeline Alliance. "SPA" is creating hundreds of kilometres of new, interconnecting pipelines to help combat the impact of climate change and keep fresh, clean water flowing across the Anglian Water region. The new network is one of the largest infrastructure projects for a generation and is a complex and challenging major infrastructure project. **Key Responsibilities** Management of site engineers as they carry out day to day site quality assurance, including surveying, setting out duties, quality checks and approvals Review construction information and lead the liaison with the Engineering and Integration team to resolve conflicts and ensure work is carried out in line with specifications and drawings Assisting the site management teams with all aspects of health, safety and environmental management, liaising with commercial, procurement and planning teams and supply chain management Be involved with calling off materials, stock control etc. and liaising with procurement team to ensure orders are not exceeded without authority **About You** Can demonstrate experience of being part of large-scale infrastructure programmes of work Can take on a leadership role and work with the site agent to help deliver on-site safety, productivity, quality and culture at all times Has the ability to plan ahead and effectively delegate tasks to the engineering team Has a can-do attitude and enthusiasm to innovate and get the job done **About Costain** Costain helps to improve people's lives with integrated, leading edge, smart infrastructure solutions across the UK's energy, water, transportation and defence markets.
