Job DescriptionJob Title: Site Engineer – Steel Frame ConstructionLocation: Peterborough, Projects NationwideEmployment Type: Full-TimeIndustry: Construction / Steel Frame ProjectsAbout the Role We are seeking a proactive and highly skilled Site Engineer to join our growing team, specialising in steel frame construction projects. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys problem-solving on-site, and wants to work on technically challenging, large-scale builds.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day site engineering activities on steel frame projectsSet out, level, and survey the site in accordance with project requirementsEnsure all works are completed in line with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standardsSupervise subcontractors and support the Site Manager with coordination of site operationsConduct quality checks and ensure compliance with health and safety regulationsMaintain accurate site documentation, including daily records and reportsAssist with resolving technical issues in collaboration with the design and project teamsLiaise with clients, consultants, and other stakeholders as requiredSkills & Experience RequiredPrevious experience working as a Site Engineer, ideally on steel frame or structural steel projectsStrong understanding of construction processes and engineering principlesProficiency with setting-out equipment (e.g. total stations, GPS)Ability to interpret technical drawings and specificationsExcellent communication and organisational skillsStrong awareness of health and safety regulationsRelevant engineering qualification (HNC/HND/BEng or equivalent)What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career progression within a growing businessSupportive team environment and ongoing professional developmentThe chance to work on high-profile, innovative steel frame projects
