To support the future growth of the airport, we are looking to recruit an Operations Support Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Aerodrome Safety & Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in assisting with the day to day coordination of all aspects of Aerodrome Safety & Compliance management. This a new and exciting role, which will offer the opportunity to work in a hands on capacity, ensuring the airport fully complies with all aerodromes regulation, as well as driving forward continual improvements.

The role operates as part of our Compliance team, operating across the whole airport and the main aspects of the role are:
- To support LBA’s compliance monitoring system as detailed in the LBA aerodrome manual by preparing audit material, assisting on audits when required and monitoring the timely closure of audit findings, escalating any overdue findings to the ASCM.
- To support continued compliance against CAA/EASA regulations.
- Assisting the ASCM in preparation for CAA Annual Aerodrome audits.
- To support the administration of the Aerodrome Manual and producing Aerodrome Manual Supplementary instructions on behalf of the ASCM.
- Administration of the LBA Safety Reporting Portal (Airside) by ensuring reports are responded to by relevant parties in a timely manner in accordance with Aerodrome Manual requirements.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of new airport developments or other projects.
- To provide advice/guidance, assistance and technical help in all aspects relating to airside operations.
- To keep abreast of legislative & regulatory requirements and current best practice regarding all operational issues.
- Provide administrative support where required such as minute or note taking in meetings or the production of OPNOTs and the administration of LBA’s CAP700 process.
- To develop and maintain operational skills such as (but not limited to) airside operations functions including apron or airfield management, wildlife control or winter operations. Providing operational support when necessary.
- Supporting the LBA operation as necessary competency permitting.

**PERSON SPECIFICATION**

**Essential**:

- Aerodrome operational experience is essential.
- A good understanding of the structure of CAA/EASA regulations and certification.
- To demonstrate a willingness to learn about the function and operation of an airport and the interrelationship between the airport, airlines and regulatory bodies.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Customer focussed with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
