**Opportunity**:
Nigel Wright Recruitment has been retained to support Kimberley Caravan Centre Ltd, a trusted and established multi-site caravan and motorhome dealership, with the recruitment of an Operations Manager to lead the commercial running of the Darlington branch.
**Role Profile**:

- Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the new hire will lead the day to day operational and commercial running of the site.
- Ensuring all departments are providing high levels of service to customers throughout their Kimberley journey, whilst driving high commercial performance.
- Responsible for the line management of the department managers for each division including new and used sales, aftersales, accessories, maintenance, repairs, valeting.
- Managing profit and loss and budgeting for each revenue stream within the branch with the core objective to drive growth, performance and stability.
- Recruiting at all levels within the branch to ensure all branch functions work seamlessly.
- Involvement with the Group leadership team in relation to the longer-term strategic business plans.

**Person Specification**:

- Commercial leadership experience is essential but not necessarily in the caravan/motorhome sector.
- The role would suit individuals who have worked in and managed teams in a high-end business to consumer sales environment where the customer journey was paramount to ensure return customer loyalty.
- Strong people management and relationship building skills are essential.
- Ability to implement and maintain commercial structure and process.
- Resilient character with demonstrable experience in negotiations.
- A hands-on approach and the ability to lead from the front whilst motivating all colleagues.
- Commutable to Darlington on a daily basis.
