Operational Innovations Director/Senior Manager

Blair West are supporting a leading ecom business to find an Operations Director. This fast-growing FMCG e-commerce business has scaled to £50m+ turnover with a strong brand presence and ambitious growth plans.
The business is strengthening its senior leadership structure, and this newly created role will take ownership of all end-to-end operational functions including warehouse, fulfilment, logistics, and customer service.
Lead the development and delivery of the operations strategy, ensuring it aligns with commercial goals and supports rapid e-commerce growth.
Drive high performance across warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, and customer service to ensure exceptional service quality and operational efficiency.
Oversee warehouse operations including layout optimisation, automation, stock management, and OTIF performance delivery.
Champion continuous improvement initiatives to reduce cost, increase productivity, and enhance operational quality.
Own customer service operations, ensuring exceptional experiences across all digital channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with 3PLs, couriers, and logistics partners to improve reliability and delivery performance.
Provide senior leadership insight, supporting strategic planning, budgeting, and business decision-making.
Support due diligence, integration, and investment planning as the business scales.
Proven experience as an Operations Director or Senior Operations Leader within a fast-paced FMCG or e-commerce environment (circa £20m+ turnover).
A strong track record in leading warehouse, fulfilment, logistics, and customer service teams.
