**Experience/Qualifications required**:

- Knowledge of an elderly care setting and the needs of older people.
- Minimum 1 year of care assistant experience.
- Experience in working in a customer-focused environment.
- Experience in delivering hands-on care.
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or above desired.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Preparing breakfast and distributing it to clients
- Cleaning the care home.
- Checking residents on a regular basis
- Washing and ironing linen
- Completing night report before going off duty
- Checking the building is locked and all windows are closed
- Attending staff meetings when they are held
- Attending specified training sessions
- On call 2 days a week (must be close enough to return to work within 45 minutes).
