**Overview**
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Workers to provide essential support and care to individuals in their own homes. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring they receive the assistance they need with daily activities while promoting their independence and dignity. As a Home Care Worker, you will be responsible for delivering personalised care tailored to each client's unique needs.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
- Administer medication as prescribed and assist with any medical needs
- Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary requirements
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or other cognitive impairments through behaviour management techniques
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
- Facilitate social activities and encourage participation in community events

**Skills**
- Experience in assisted living, nursing home settings or home care environments is highly desirable but not essential as full training provided.
- Ability to drive
- Proficient in meal preparation that meets specific dietary needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, families, and healthcare teams
- Empathy and patience when dealing with clients experiencing cognitive challenges such as Alzheimer’s or dementia
- Capability to manage challenging behaviours while maintaining a calm demeanour
