Our Human Resources team support the management team to deliver best practice in all aspects of the employee lifecycle. We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to add to this fast paced and busy team.

**As a Group Senior HR Advisor your responsibilities will include, though will not be limited to**:

- Providing HR support to all Group Companies
- Maintaining the Staff Handbook in agreement with the Group HR Manager.
- Assist with specific projects, as and when required.
- Ensuring that the HR Department is always covered between the core operating hours.
- Deputising for HR Manager.
- Promote equality and diversity as part of the culture of the organisation.
- Establishing, developing, and maintaining effective and credible working relationships throughout organisation.
- Demonstrating a commitment and corporate focus.
- Maintaining professional HR integrity and confidentially ensuring that confidentiality and data protection requirements are maintained and adhered to.
- Keeping up to date with employment legislation and good practice and recommend improvements to the HR Manager and Head of People.
- Being the front line of contact for queries coming into the HR Department and manage allocated case load as assigned by the HR Manager or Head of People.
- Providing professional support and advice to internal customers on a range of employment issues including conditions of service, policies and procedures, employment legislation and good practice.
- Assisting the leadership team in dealing with HR matters as appropriate with confidentiality and to appropriate time scales.
- Supporting managers to use the performance assessment system and where necessary the compilation of personal improvement plans (PIPs) to identify development needs and priorities (includes chasing PIP reviews).
- Producing and checking correspondence in relation to changes in terms and conditions of employment and interface with payroll services on changes to salaries.
- Processing leavers.
- Facilitating the development of HR skill in managers by advising on matters of employment law and best employment practice and the interpretation of terms and conditions and HR policies and procedures.
- Producing and issuing contract changes passing to the HR Administrator for payroll processing.
- Encouraging enforcement of the Staff Handbook taking advice from the Head of People. and external employment law resource where necessary.
- Supporting the HR Administrator with monthly payroll processing for the Group.
- Supporting the HR Administrator with changes to staff details in line with payroll cut-off.
- Assisting with the preparation and delivery of line leader training programmers on HR related matters. Ensure the content of the training is relevant to training needs identified, and in line with current best practice and legislation.
- Ensuring accuracy of information when inputting into the HR People system.
- Producing reports from the People system as required.
- Creating and maintaining personal, employment, payroll and staffing establishment information and records in both the manual filing system and the People system.
- Ensuring that paperwork and systems pertaining to personnel are administered and maintained in accordance with the Staff Handbook, company policy, best practice, and relevant industry regulation.
- Ensuring that manual and computerised data is managed within the requirements of the Data Protection Act.

**Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 09.00 - 18.00
