If you are looking for the next step in your Finance career this might be the role for you We are looking for an experienced **Accounts Payable Administrator** to join our Finance team in our Office in Manchester. As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a vital part in the end-to-end accounts payable process, reconciling statements, resolving queries and processing expenses as well as assisting with reporting using Excel and working to KPI's.
**What you will be doing**:
- Timely matching and posting of all purchase invoices and employee expense claims in to the accounting system.
- Managing the KYC of supplier accounts.
- Matching of purchase invoices to approved purchase orders.
- Journal posting of multi-line invoices.
- Resolving questions from both external and internal stakeholders regarding purchase invoices queries.
- Reconciling supplier accounts and raising questions where necessary.
- Reviewing and process credit card bills, ensuring full back-up is received for all costs.
- Preparation of payment runs.
- Bank input and control of payment runs within approval structure.
- Monthly bank reconciliation work.
- Monitoring and updating of relevant procedure.
- Other ad-hoc tasks as required by the Accounts Payable team.

**What can you bring to the team?**
- Knowledge of accounts payable and how a Finance department operates
- Good analytical and strong numerical skills
- Knowledge of accounting packages would be an asset but ability to learn an accounting package would be required
- Experience of working in an accounts/office role, for at least 2 years
- Proficient in Microsoft products, especially strong Excel skills;
- Full training will be provided on both procedures and in-house systems
- Good attention to detail and strong work ethics
- Good organisational skills with ability to multi-task and has attention to detail
- Plans and prioritizes work effectively, with a proactive approach to issue resolution
- An enthusiastic and bright team player with a ‘can do’ attitude
- The Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written (Essential)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £23,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
