Chappell Enterprises are recruiting for a **Business Development Manager**for our client based in the **Cambridge** area.
Our client are a specialist independent radio communications company. Having recently celebrated 50 years of business, they have supplied the royal household and are the first choice for two-way radio hire in the UK.
**Role Purpose**:
To pursue and generate revenue growth whilst ensuring an Outstanding Customer Experience. Securing new business through appropriate networking & referral channels and increase diversified revenue through active promotion & awareness of products and services.
Being a **Business Development Manager**, here are some of the tasks you will be responsible for however this list is not exhaustive:
- Responsibility for provision of Outstanding Customer Experience and achievement of Sales targets with a defined panel of Key Account Customers and New Growth prospects
- Ensure Radio Links is the nominated partner of choice aligning to our Customers strategic priorities, maximising upcoming projects to drive revenue growth
- Responsible for oversight and main point of contact for all Key Account tenders, related processes and meeting deadlines
- Self generate appropriate new business targets across multiple industries
- Conduct regular Senior/C-level Face to Face business meetings together with focused pro-active telephone calls to both existing and new growth target customers
- To actively network promoting Radio Links and the wider Brentwood Group brand with all Customers, Networks and associated stakeholders
- Grow product per Customer and diversify business mix
- To work collaboratively with colleagues ensuring Customers needs are met and expectations exceeded
**Quality of Delivery**
- Successful achievement of all activity and quality KPIs
- Customer retention %, conversion %, diversified product mix % and £revenue achieved
- Achievement of Customer feedback targets
- Effective use of CRM as a territory management and planning tool
**Customer**
- Put customers and people at the heart of all activity ensuring the delivery of the Brentwood Group Customer Experience commitment
- Represent the company by maintaining high personal standards regarding appearance, behaviours, attitude and integrity in line with the delivery of Outstanding service
**Health and Safety**
- Maintain responsibility for own Health and Safety at all times, adhering to all company policies
- Report all accidents, injuries and near misses to the office immediately
**Corporate Responsibility**
- Engage with business wide initiatives that support charity, community, and socially responsible business activity.
The salary on offer is starting at **£32,000 -£36,000 PA + Commission (Expected first year earnings - £50K)**
