**Job Title: Trainee Residential Support Worker**
**Location: Northampton**
**Salary: £10.42 per hour, £35 per sleep and £12.75 per hour for bank holidays**

We are looking for committed residential support workers to join our team in providing care for children and teenagers in our client’s residential care homes.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Creating and maintaining a positive environment for the children.
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to help children develop self-esteem and confidence.
- Monitoring and managing children's behaviour.
- Developing and implementing daily routines, activities, and programs.
- Communicating children's progress and needs to the appropriate team members.
- Undertaking domestic tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
**Requirements**:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to work well as a part of a team.
- The ability to work under pressure and in challenging situations.
- A positive outlook and the ability to maintain a positive attitude.
- A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential.
- Able to commit to the following shift patterns: 8am-11pm **(15 Hour shift)** and 8am-11pm+Sleep. **(15-hour shift plus 8-hour sleep).**:
- 1-day minimum availability per week.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm, Zero hours contract
