**Job description**

Looking for a Part Time experienced bookkeeper to join our team based in Hornchurch for 10 hours per week (flexible on days/times).

The role requires professionalism, accuracy and attention to detail. Reporting directly to the Managing Director they will take responsibility for a number of particularly important duties for the company as well as a series of more routine day to day tasks.

They will be accountable for the company’s bookkeeping and financial administration obligations daily, monthly, quarterly and annually. Making sure everything is prepared to submit Payroll, VAT return, and business reports etc.

A comprehensive understanding of bookkeeping and sound financial management is essential.
- Finance admin experience with full understanding of accounting process (Minimum 5 years)
- AAT Qualified preferred, but not essential
- Excellent accounting systems knowledge and experience with typical Microsoft knowledge
- Good understanding and experience of working with Sage Line 50 accounts package
- Aptitude for numbers, accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Must be self motivated and capable of working on own

**Responsibilities**:

- All basic bookkeeping duties including purchase and sales ledger
- Bank and credit card reconciliation
- Raising credit notes and distributing invoices and monthly account statements
- Credit control
- VAT preparation
- Year End (in conjunction with the company’s accountancy firm)
- Report generation (debtors, profit and loss, etc)
- Organising payments schedules
- Prepare monthly reports and present to the MD

The position shall be at our Hornchurch, Essex (RM11 1XP) office for 10 hours per week, which we are flexible on the days and times that this would be. The salary will be £14 per hour.

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week
