**IVU Handler** **Location**: UK-West Sussex-Haywards Heath **Hybrid Working** **25k-28k** **The Company** You will be working for a leading multi-brand insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition. They are in the Times "Top 100 companies to work for" and are committed to their ethos of 'putting the fun into insurance'. **The Role** The key purpose of this role is to handle an allocation of bodily injury claims that have been identified as requiring further validation checks, being that the claims may have been presented late into the life cycle of the claim, and/or with no objectiveevidence of any injury having been sustained. The allocation will also include claims which have been recently returned from CFT, in which CFT have not been able to substantiate any fraud, however these claims must be handled diligently bearing in mind our previous concerns. This will involve but is not exclusive to making proactive investigations with third party representatives, claimants, and policyholders. Analysing medical evidence, reports and records alongside characteristics of the claim and deciding on the best strategyfor the claim to bring it to an economic conclusion whilst maintaining our robust handling strategies. In addition, third party liability and property damage aspects of the claim will also be handled. **What will my duties be?** - Handle daily new claim allocations - Maintain post and diary reviews within SLA requirements - Handle claims within IVU's key objectives of scrutinizing injuries for objective evidence and choosing the right claim to repudiate and defend. - Liaising with our panel solicitors for advice and claimant's representative background checks. - Report back regularly to TL with target positions - Review and amend any audit reviews from our Quality Control team. - Regularly monitor and review weekly and monthly KPI targets - Answer inbound calls from customers, brokers and third-party representatives in a professional manner dealing with queries, complaints and providing updates on claims. - Additional administrational duties as required - A flexible approach to work management, required in a fast-paced environment. **What skills do I need?** - 2 years experience of handling PI claims but can also consider anyone with 1 years experience. - Understanding of MOJ portal and valuation of medical reports would be needed as the role requires causation arguments to be run on PI claims. **What are the hours?** 9am to 5pm Monday-Friday **What benefits are there?** 30 days holiday (inc Bank Holidays) with the ability to buy and sell more days. 5% contributary pension scheme, health and wellbeing support, life assurance, a portal full of individual benefits including retail discounts, memberships, discounted restaurants,cinema tickets and much more
