Job Introduction

** About Us**

** The Network Coordination function ensures the smooth running of the road network. We coordinate utility, developer and private work on the highway, manages performance and minimises disruption to the travelling public, under the Oxfordshire Permit Scheme and Oxfordshire Lane Rental Scheme and in line with the relevant legislations including NRSWA 1991. We work as part of the wider Network Management Team.**

**About the Role**

The posts will report directly to the Team Leader Network Coordination and will provide support to the wider team to maximise compliance on the network. You will also assist with supervision and mentoring of other staff.

**About you**

You should be educated to BTEC Level 3 or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications or significant experience in this field; be in possession of current NRSWA Streetworks Supervisor Card/LANTRA certification. You will have a sound knowledge of the latest legislative requirements as they relate to NRSWA. Be able to work on initiative and alone, ideally you will have previous experience of working at a similar level in Local Government or a Utility. You will require excellent interpersonal and communications skills and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Staff will mainly work out on site. You may be designated to work in various locations across the County and come to the office as required, which is Ron Groves House in Kidlington. The remainder of the team work remotely and come into the office weekly.
