**About us**
Oxfordshire County Council is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to support the team leader for our Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) Enforcement team. As the Senior Officer, you will be at the forefront of managing and guiding the ANPR team, which plays a pivotal role in the enforcement of traffic restrictions across the county, including the Zero Emission Zone, Filters project, and Moving Traffic Enforcement.
**About the role**
In this role, you will ensure that fines are processed in accordance with national legislation and represent the county in any tribunals, court proceedings or committees. As a senior officer you will be instrumental in delivering efficient and effective camera enforcement and overseeing the workloads of the internal team.
You will provide technical input and advice on the installation and setup of new ANPR enforcement sites, ensuring seamless back-office integration and appropriate signage in compliance with national legislation. Additionally, you will deputise for the ANPR Team Leader as required.
You will investigate complaints and enquires relating to ANPR enforcement across the County, considering and resolving enquiries relating to the service of PCNs, as well as gathering data and providing responses for Freedom of Information requests.
You will manage the team of officers dealing with representations and appeals and provide supervision and support in the team’s day to day activities, so previous experience of managing a team is essential.
