Responsible for managing the purchasing of materials, equipment and services on behalf of ProAmpac. Working with vendors to negotiate prices and terms of sale, monitor inventory levels, and ensure that products meet quality standards. Overseeing other aspects of procurement including supplier management, contract management, and vendor performance tracking.

**Essential Duties and Tasks**
- Reviewing purchase orders and making sure that they are complete and accurate before approving them
- Making sure that contracts are issued in accordance with company requirement in regards to terms and conditions
- Negotiating prices for goods or services to ensure that they are fair market value/competitive
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure that they deliver on time and meet quality standards
- Coordinating bids from vendors and selecting a winning bidder based on merit
- Managing inventory levels of materials and supplies, ensuring that there is an adequate supply for operations but not too much so as to go unused
- Reviewing bids to determine whether they are reasonable, based on market prices of similar goods or services
- Reviewing purchase orders to ensure that they are complete and accurately describe the item being purchased and the price being paid for it
- Responsible for purchase of all print related consumables (blades, seals etc)
- Responsible for purchase of all finishing related consumables (cores, wicket wired, knives etc)
- Responsible for solvents and PPE and card/box requirements
- Responsible for contracts covering vending, forklifts, PRN and any office items
- Support procurement of direct raw material orders
- Working closely with the warehouse and logistics manager

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £22,000.00 per year
