Leeds, United Kingdom Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust Full time

Are you ready to take on the exciting challenge to provide images and easy read resources to support a reduction of health inequalities for people with a learning disability?

Could you be a part of a team who work strategically across the city to create and implement graphics and resources to support other health professionals within the Learning Disability, primary care network and the wider health and social care services and organisations in Leeds and further afield?

You will report directly to the Band 7 nurse within the team. You will have the confidence, initiative and ability to work alone or as part of the team, or with service users who will support the co-production of images and documents. You will be based at St Mary’s hospital in Leeds.

The Leeds and York Partnership NHS Foundation Trust (LYPFT) is the main provider of Mental Health and Learning Disability services in Leeds. We also provide specialist inpatient services in York and some highly specialised services across the country. As a teaching trust with strong links to local universities, we are a centre of excellence for teaching, research and development.

There are many benefits of working for LYPFT including fantastic employee wellbeing support, 27 - 33 days annual leave, flexible working and remote working arrangements, the NHS Pension Scheme (LYPFT pays 20.6% into your scheme each year), coaching, support and opportunities for career development and training and education support alongside a range of exclusive discounts and payment schemes including for cars, extra leave days and more organisations such as Blue Light Card, Health Service Discounts and NHS Discount Offers.

As a main point of contact for visual content production, you will be expected to work closely with not only members of the Health Facilitation Team, but colleagues from all levels across the trust including service users and carers. Using your skills and expertise, you will help the Trust tell its stories through creative and visual means in a way that is accessible for our diverse communities. These solutions should also support the Trust’s overall objectives while having a positive impact on the services we deliver within the Trust and to our service users.

Where appropriate you will also commission and liaise with external suppliers in the production of design, print, videography, and photography projects. Working with these suppliers you will ensure that the Trust and NHS brand identities are adhered to and the end products meet with the organisation’s objectives.
