Position: Higher Executive Officer Location: Sheffield and National Hourly Rate 15.96 **Salary**: £30,817 per annum Contract: Temporary, 37.5 hours per week Progression into a Home Office Fixed Term Contract **Within this role you will be deployed on a National basis to support on various projects around the country. Brook Street in partnership with the Home Office are recruiting a national Tactical Surge Team to support its colleagues across the business. This team will be made up of Tactical Surge Units to quickly prioritise and deploy support to teams during surge orcrisis periods. We have roles available now for Higher Executive Officers (Team Leaders) in various locations across the UK. Key accountabilities within this role include: " Being the senior responsible officer for the deployment unit with the ability to motivate the team in the uncertain and everchanging environments of work. " Having excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with colleagues and stakeholders at all grades. " Working in a collaborative way with operational areas in order to embed the unit and maximise efficiency of the deployment. " Actively engaging with the members of the SMT, responding to their individual/collective needs and providing support, as necessary. " Effectively managing the team's performance and ensure that performance and quality assurance data is captured and reported back to Central Hub. What we need from you: " Demonstration of a high level of confidentially in relation to HR and Operational matters. " Management experience or equivalent. " Excellent written and verbal communication skills. " An excellent knowledge of Office 365 (Word, Excel, SharePoint etc) " Proven record of adapting to changing priorities and ability to work at pace under pressure. " Ability to work with various stakeholders. " Ability to work in a changing environment focused on Service Level agreements. Within this role you may be deployed on a National basis and mobility and flexibility is essential.
