You’ll be making banking more secure by designing, implementing, and operating controls to manage cybersecurity risk. You’ll help define HSBC Group cyber security standards, deliver Global Security Operations ad Threat management services, provide round-the-clock monitoring and security incident response services, and oversee Network/Application/Infrastructure Security. The work you do will provid3e assurance of the adequacy and effectiveness of security controls to Business Risk Owners.

Cyber Security Assessment and Testing (CSAT) is part of Cybersecurity, is accountable for Vulnerability Management, Secure Development, Threat and Controls Assessment (inc. threat modelling) and Third-Party Security Assessment. The function drives the identification, capture, assessment, testing/verification and ultimately the remediation of security defects, gaps, and vulnerabilities across HSBC’s estate in concert with business and technology teams - on-premises, within the Cloud and for those resulting from 3rd party engagements.

The Governance and Delivery lead operates across the CSAT. This role supports the Global Head of CSAT and oversees the day to day governance of the team and its delivery including; overseeing delivery targets and reporting, personnel and communication management, and driving a healthy and productive work environment. Responsibilities may include:

In this role you will:

- Supporting the CSAT domain heads to plan delivery of their services, process & platforms supporting their activities; as well as ensure that continuous planning is undertaken cross CSAT and ensuring outcomes align to strategic objectives;
- Ensure visibility of the CSAT operational budget, headwinds and expenditure to ensure accurate financial reporting and alignment of spend with forecast;
- Manage the CSAT personnel plan and support with hiring and on/offboarding to ensure staff are hired in accordance with plan and minimise the risks of delays, disruption or policy breaches.
- Facilitate reporting, communication and stakeholder management; ensuring reports and communications provide meaningful insight into CSAT progress toward meeting outcomes and requirements;
- Manage the Front Office for CSAT, including tracking of internal and external (i.e. audit) requests and committments;
- Provide synchronicity with the Cybersecurity Transformation Programme and other HSBC delivery partners;

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

- Proven experience in Delivery Support including oversight of multi-$M budgets;
- Proven planning abilities and knowledge of Agile planning methods, including PI planning;
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience of understanding and meeting the needs of multiple teams;
- Experience facilitating and leading delivery planning;
- Knowledge of budgeting and common accountancy principles;
- Experience of working in DevOps & Agile models, including usage of tooling such as JIRA;
- Experience creating content tailored to various audiences;
- Recent Cybersecurity experience;
