Our Public Sector client has an immediate requirement for an experienced Senior Marketing Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. This an exciting opportunity which offers long term progression opportunities and a hybrid model working two days per week at the Dundee office. This is a new role within the the business, with significant autonomy and ownership. To help build on this success, our client now have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Officer to grow, develop and lead content creation.

**Responsibilities Include**:

- Lead and be responsible for the growth and development of student-led content marketing across the business.- Develop a vision, strategy and objectives for student-led content marketing in line with University objectives, strategic drivers and market trends.- Lead operational planning across student-led content marketing.- Monitor, analyse and report on the success of student-led content marketing. This will involve developing a measurement framework, and using results to drive efficiencies and enhance activity.- Produce student-led content marketing reports and proposals to key stakeholders and to relevant committees and boards.- Project manage the integration of student voice in our marketing and engagement activity. This will involve leading matrix teams to identify content requirements, establish ways of working and associated processes, and deliver on agreed student-led content marketing objectives.- Maintain high level of communication with academic and professional services staff, reporting regularly to ensure that staff are aware of and engage with student-led content marketing.- Recruit Student Content Creators, representative of our core markets and programmes. These are new roles and you will be required to feed into contractual arrangements and ways of working for these positions.- Train, support and manage our team of Student Content Creators to develop, edit and deliver a range of content including video, photography, written and audio.- Provide strategic direction to our Student Content Creators, ensuring each piece of content is aligned to the student-led content strategy and considers audience, user experience, SEO and most appropriate format and channels.- Line manage and support our Marketing Administrator (Student Content).- Provide expert advice on content marketing strategy and techniques to drive student recruitment.- Lead on events pertinent to student-led content marketing, including recruitment events.- Take ownership of working with our web team to create a new Student Life section on the website, incorporating student-led blogs, social media content and videos.- Budgetary reporting and management.**Experience/Skills Required**:

- Experience of developing and delivering content marketing strategies- Experience of content planning, development, and delivery across various channels- Experience of analysing, optimising, and reporting on content marketing performance- Experience of leading a team to deliver projects on time and on budget- Experience of managing and reporting on budgets- Understanding of the customer journey and ability to tailor content for audiences throughout- Understanding of the key principles of user experience and accessibility- Understanding of the importance of brand management, and the ability to follow style guidelines.- Ability to work to deadline, managing multiple projects, whilst maintaining high standards- Ability to contribute to and lead a team as well as work under own initiative- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to write, edit, proof-read, and prepare copy in accessible English- Line management experience (Desirable)- Project management training/qualification (Desirable)- Experience of higher education marketing and/or international marketing (Desirable)- Experience of developing and introducing a new workflow (Desirable)
