Our Public Sector client has an immediate requirement for an experience Marketing Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. This an exciting opportunity which offers long term progression opportunities and a hybrid model working two days per week atthe Dundee office.. As a Marketing Manager you will be responsible for managing a department and regional marketing budget for one of the largest departments within the business area. You will also manage a small, dynamic team of Marketing & Communications Officers. Your workwill support the achievement of ambitious target student matriculation numbers through implementing strategic marketing campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, the development of new collateral, video creation, web content and
communication pieces particularly in the area of accreditation.
**Responsibilities Include**:

- Taking lead responsibility for developing and implementing a marketing and communications
- strategy to achieve ambitious student matriculation targets.
- Take lead responsibility for developing a marketing and communications strategy for specific target international markets in line with business strategic plans and regional planning. This will involve development, implementation, evaluation and refinementof a comprehensive marketing plan.
- Managing the marketing budget and a regional marketing budget, identifying the appropriate level of budget to meet business objectives and managing this spend effectively, ensuring return on investment
- Manage marketing officers to implement agreed marketing and communications plans, consistent with overall branding.
- Play an active role in achieving and maintaining accreditations such as PRME, AACSB, EQUIS
- and Small Business charter, producing content, reports and statistics to facilitate annual
- reporting and peer review visits
- Regularly investigate how the business is positioned in the market in comparison to competitors ensuring that reports are provided to the school and recommendations are made.
- Develop strategies for increasing the conversion rate of enquirers to applicants
- Work with Market Research Officer and external agencies to assess business opportunities for product development and brand positioning.
- Report regularly on marketing campaign activity, detailing return on investment and recommendations for future campaigns. Presenting this information to relevant stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with a diverse range of contacts including
- senior academic and professional services staff.

**Experience/Skills Required**:

- High-level business planning skills
- Line management experience
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- A proven track record of planning and implementing marketing and communications projects that deliver tangible business results and reputational benefits
- Ability to work autonomously, plan projects, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- A good knowledge of the full range of marketing disciplines (market research & analysis,
- marketing strategy and planning and marketing communications)
- Expertise in market research and all areas of communications particularly publications,
- web, digital platforms, customer relationship management and advertising.
- International marketing experience (Desirable)
- Knowledge of the admissions / recruitment cycle in Higher Education and issues relating to
- student recruitment (Desirable)
