Content and Social Media Executive

**The Role**

We are looking for a creative and driven **Content and Social Media Executive** to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing engaging content across the digital platforms of our growing client base, managing content calendars and growing their online presence, in addition to our own. **Key Responsibilities**

Content Creation
- Develop a range of high-quality content, including but not limited to blog posts, social media updates, infographics, videos and stories for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, with an eye on emerging channels.
- Work alongside clients to arrange on-site content days to ensure the content bank remains well stocked.
- Collaborate with the design team, creating briefs to produce visually appealing graphic content.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure clarity, engagement and alignment with each client’s tone and messaging.

Social Media Strategy & Management
- Plan, execute and manage robust social media content calendars for each client to ensure consistent brand presence.
- Translate the monthly marketing guidance set by the Client Strategy Director, developing these out into individual content plans.
- Monitor social media trends, competitors and the evolving digital landscape to keep content fresh and relevant, confidently making suggestions internally and to clients.
- Implement strategies to grow social media followers, increase engagement and drive conversions across all platforms in line with individual business objectives.
- Oversee the management of social media scheduling and posting, supported by the Marketing Assistant.
- Manage paid social campaigns (where applicable) to support promotional initiatives and drive ROI.
- Provide real-time engagement with the online community by responding to comments, messages and mentions.

Performance Analysis
- Regularly analyse and report on the performance of social media content using key metrics and insights from analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite and SEMRush.
- Use data and insights to optimise future content strategies, aiming for continuous improvement and asserting our expertise to clients.
- Stay informed on key performance trends and provide recommendations for improvements based on data analysis.

Essential Collaboration
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure cohesive brand messaging across all campaigns.
- Get involved with The Essential Journal, a national lifestyle magazine produced by Essential Studio, contributing story suggestions and assisting in copywriting.
- Contribute ideas and insights to brainstorming sessions, campaigns and long-term content strategies.
- At least **2-3 years experience** in a social media/content role
- Proven ability to be **creative** and develop content to resonate with a target audience
- Proficient in **social media management tools**, ideally our in-house preferences SEMRush and Picter and experience of working with design software, including Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
- Strong understanding of **social media analytics** and experience of using tools such as Google Analytics and Meta Business Suite.
- Excellent **written** and **verbal communication** skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects with tight deadlines
- Flexible and able to adjust content strategies based on changing priorities and trends, as well as client needs.
