**The Vacancy**

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to our supportive and dedicated team.

April Court is a 17 bedroomed residential home that is dedicated to supporting people with learning disabilities. It is situated in the Kinson area which is around 5 miles away from Bournemouth town centre. The team at April Court are proactive in ensuring the residents are supported to maintain their individuality.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Supporting our clients to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach.
- Providing high-quality care and support, centred around each client’s needs.
- Ensuring that individual care plans are developed, implemented and monitored.
- Coordinating and leading support staff in the provision of personal care including manual handling.
- Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines.
- The ability to work flexibly including alternate weekends, evenings and Bank Holidays.
- Experience of working with Adults with learning disabilities.
- Knowledge of relevant Community Care and Safeguarding legislation.
- Knowledge of administration of medicines and NICE guidance.
- Effective communication skills.
- Competent IT skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Care or a willingness to achieve this.
- Full driving licence and use of a vehicle is desirable.

**Part-time - 30 hours per week**

We are NOT able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
