We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker to join our supportive and dedicated team at April Court
April Court is a residential home that provides care and support for adults with learning disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for you to join our dedicated, friendly, innovative, and welcoming team.
As a Senior Residential Support Worker you will support our residents to lead fulfilling lives through a person-centred approach, working to ensure the service and activities are varied and meet residents’ needs.
**What you’ll do**
- ** Provide care and support** that promotes client choice and independence.
- ** Coordinate and lead the support staff** and support with personal care as required
- ** Ensure that individual care plans**are developed, implemented and monitored.
- ** Support residents to take their prescribed medication**:
- **Work within the Gold Standards Framework**to ensure quality care
**What you need**
- ** NVQ/QCF Level 3 Certificate** or be prepared to work towards a qualification.
- ** Knowledge and awareness of Community Care and Safeguarding**legislation
- ** Strong communication skills**:
- ** Good knowledge of CQC standards**:
- ** Competent IT skills**with the ability to maintain accurate records
- ** An understanding of health and safety** requirements
- ** A full current UK driving licence with the use of a car**and be willing to drive the home’s vehicles.
**Part-time - 14 hours per week**
We are NOT able to offer visa sponsorship for this role.

We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care.
